Humans see mosquitoes as creatures typical for rainy season, but today mosquitoes have made themselves at home even in winter. Villages: Over growing a villages, Anopheles mosquitoes, which are carriers of malaria, prevail most of the times. They breed in other aquatic environments and also in the ponds and the fields. They are less active in colder grounds but continue with their activity in places where there is stain water.

Female mosquitoes bite human beings because it contains blood that is used to develop eggs from where new mosquitoes happen to hatch. Males, unlike the females, work on nectar and honey rather than using the acutely chisel like mouth parts which are used to suck human and animal blood.

Eliminate stagnant water.
